Welcome!
This website is designed to accompany a four-session Introduction to Computer Science and Computer Programming course for adults with little or no previous experience in computer science. Lessons are typically about two hours in length.
Meeting Details
We'll be meeting on the Polytechnic School South Campus, in the Poly Building, downstairs, Room 110, accessible via the double doors on McWilliams Courtyard.
Our sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30, on
- Tuesday, January 20
- Tuesday, January 27
- Tuesday, February 3
- Tuesday, February 10
Light refreshments will be available! Course fee of $20 (cash preferred) is payable at our first meeting.
Resources
The class will make use of a number of resources:
- your computer running Windows, macOS, or Linux
- a simple online development platform for writing and running code
- YouTube videos
- online readings
