Download the zip file above to your computer (into your Downloads folder, probably?) Double-click on the zip file to expand it into a folder called html_files.
Sign in to pickcode.io, go to Sandbox → Projects → New Project and create an HTML project with your lastNameFirstInitial; my project, for example, is called whiter.
Open that project to get the familiar two-pane development window. Remove the two files that are listed there by clicking on the 3-circle icon on the right, selecting "Remove," and confirming that you want to Delete each file.
Click on the three-bar "hamburger menu" in the upper-left corner to open up a file-browser. Click the green Add... button, choose Upload...
We want to upload from your computer both the file index.html and the folder assets . Click on those Upload options, find the file and folder in your Downloads folder, and upload them to pickcode.io.
At this point you've got the index.html file that you can edit on the left, and the browser-version of that webpage on the right. You can edit content, code, images, colors, as you wish.
To publish on the web we need a server and a means of transferring your files from your computer to the server. When you're ready to publish, from the blue project bar at the top, select Share.
Change the settings as shown above, click "Copy link", and email me the link. I'll put your site on our website where you can look at it from your own browser or phone, at crashwhite.com/cs4a/lastNameFirstInitial
