Welcome back from Trips Week!

Whether you took advantage of the week to visit some colleges, or you (like me) just hung out in Pasadena taking care of other business, I hope you also had a chance to relax a little this week. You deserve it!

In our physics class we'll be picking up where we left off, with our study of two-dimensional projectile motion. You've got your vertical acceleration, with

Δy = viΔt + 1/2 a Δt2

...and you've got your horizontal constant velocity:

Δx = vx Δt

Those two equations are the key to solving just about every problem that we're working on this week. SO GOOD!
